Putting my long walking journal of Whidbey Island together has taken hours for the sketches and story of the adventures along the walk. This segment of the walk started from Bakken road at Greenbank passed the old Greenbank farm where the buildings are now being used for a restaurant, art galleries, winery, social events, weekend market, acres of tall grass and forest with trails for people to walk and picnic. I followed the North Bluff road to Houston where it ends up on hiway 525...then another one mile to Wanamaker Road where I caught the south bound Island transit to Bakken where my car was parked for the beginning of the walk.
